Flag Poles

All poles are one piece tapered aluminum in 3 different configurations of strength and aesthetic appearance. The Pole dimensions at the top and base together with the thickness of the aluminum determine the wind speed rating and the price of the pole. The wider the diameters at the top and bottom of the pole and the higher the wall thickness the stronger and more substantial the flag pole.

All poles include the following accessories:
  • Gold anodized aluminum ball ornament.
  • Cast aluminum revolving truck with pulley standard on all poles (residential poles heights 15’ through 30’. come with stationery truck standard).
  • Solid braided polypropylene halyard.
  • Cast aluminum cleat with mounting screws.
  • Swivel flag snaps with vinyl covers.
  • Galvanized steel foundation sleeve (15’ through 25’ residential poles have PVC foundation sleeves).
  • Spun aluminum flash collar included for standard and commercial poles only. (Available for the residential pole for $20.00 additional.)

Below are the available flag pole finishes.

The conical portion tapers approximately 1" in every 5.5 feet.  Poles with overall lengths of less than 38'6" are shipped in one piece.  Longer lengths are shipped in sections and will be factory fitted with a self-aligning sleeve which requires no field welding.  Upon proper assembly a hair-line joint will occur.

All poles are double spiral wrapped with protective paper and shipped in a hard fiber tube.  "Warning" - The flagpole shaft will stain if allowed to remain in contact with wet or damp wrappings.  If there is any sign that the shaft or its shipping tube has come in contact with water during shipment, remove it from the tube and unwrap immediately.  IF the shaft is to be stored outdoors, it must be stored unwrapped, out of the tube, and off the ground.  If the shaft is to be stored indoors, it may be left in the wrappings and the tube, provided that it shows no sign of having been exposed to moisture, and that it will not be exposed to moisture during storage.

All foundation dimensions listed on this site are intended for general guidelines only in good, firm, dry soil.  It is recommended to consult an engineer for specific foundation dimensions suited to your exact location.  "Warning" - Extreme care must be exercised when installing flagpoles near overhead power lines or when digging in the vicinity of buried cable or piping.  Contact your local authorities before any digging.

Standard Finishes
All flagpole shafts are highly polished with fine grain aluminum oxide cloth resulting in a high quality, deep satun lustre finish.  This finish represents the ultimate in architectural finishes for aluminum flagpoles.  The elegant, soft sheen remains maintenance free.  In addition to satin, the following anodized finishes are available as standard colors: clear, light bronze #311, medium bronze #312
